As The whole world knows we are in a world wide pandemic. This is due to the Corona Virus or COVID-19. It is an understatement to say that this virus has affected everyone and their lives. From the start of COVID-19 we knew it was a very serious and fatal virus. We all were hearing about it on the news and never thought that it would get to us, especially not in our city or town. Well this is where we got it all wrong. This corona Virus has infected more than 126,000 people in 114 countries and has taken the lives

of more than 4,600. That is alot for a virus and the fact that it's not even close to over just yet.

The coronaVirus is an infectious disease caused by a new virus formed in china. It spread by someone eating an undercooked bat and since has infected the world. It is still unknown whether the virus was transferred directly from bat to human, or if there was an

“intermediate” animal between. This is the problem, there is still so much unknown about COVID-19 that it is hard to give accurate and relevant information to medical professionals and the curious population. There is not yet specific medicine to prevent or treat coronavirus. If tested positive you will most likely be encouraged to get medicine to treat your symptoms and other than if needed supportive care to help breathe, it will be a self care treatment.

Some drugs or vaccines that have been thought of are Gilead Sciences, Ascletis Pharma, Moderna Therapeutics, and others. Medical professionals who have been working day in and day out with trial and error to find a treatment that will kill the corona virus but keep the patient safe, and hopefully this process will soon meet succession and the virus will be on its way to restore the world.

My family and I have been extremely lucky to have been able to stay at home,parents continuing work from the house, and have everything that is needed to stay healthy and happy.

Unfortunately many families around the world cannot say the same. This virus has not only shut

down schools, airports, and overall towns, but has also shut down the lives of many. Many families around the world suffer from minimum wage jobs that can barely pay the bills, and with this shutdown of most jobs and children being home needing food, and other life essentials it's hard to have enough for everyone. This was unexpected, Our country was not prepared for what has hit us.

The Corona Virus has affected each and every one of us. It allows us to take a break and realize how much we take for granted,

sometimes it takes being stripped of everything to realize how much everything means and how important things that we may not even think about are. I believe that there are positives and negatives to this virus. Sometimes it's beneficial to have a break to seek what life is truly about. Corona is a worldwide pandemic and hopefully soon is found a cure so we can all get back to our

love for granted.
